smut princess

I love to Read....I guess so since I'm on this site. This quote I saw is true. .. "Reading is dreaming with your eyes open"  I love the vacation books take me on.

I also love to cook .....it's my first passion....if only I were really good at it... It's all trial and error ....more error then anything :-)

Love and Lists, Chocoholics #1 - Tara Sivec Received arc in exchange for an honest review. I honestly loved it. Tara did not disappoint. I hadn't realized how much I missed the crazy family she created. I need my family to do some serious changing :). Go buy this book!!!!!
Beautiful Broken Rules - Kimberly Lauren Devoured this book. Truly refreshing. Loved it from start to finish. Emerson knows what she wants, what she's capable of. She is the school slut with 3 rules. She makes no apologies for her way of "living". Enter Jaxon, hot as hellfire. He is about to take on the challenge that is Emerson.

Will he succeed?

Read this book, you will love it
Bite Me (Bitten, #1) - C.C. Wood I do not read paranormal romance that much anymore, but was drawn to Bite me based on a recommendation and I decided to give it a chance and I am so happy that I did. C.c Wood did a fantastic job in creating Bite me, It gave me all I needed in a book....fun, humor, drama, angst, sexy and oh the HEAT!!!- You get it all in Bite Me.

Meet Donna, who HAD a great job in advertising. When she learns her boss is stealing from the company - she is, of course, fired. She is tossed out of the industry on her head and becomes a waitress. Let me tell you....I would become a waitress in a second if it meant I would meet gorgeous, but different, Conner Savage - who has a Scottish accent that would not stop me from thinking of Sean Connery's accent while reading this book :-)

I love Donna's attitude and how she connected with Conner. They save each other in this book and I love the journey.

C.c Wood has made me love paranormal again (well at least her paranormal anyway) and that was not something I thought would happen. I recommend you read this book.

Hell's Knights (The MC Sinners, #1) - Bella Jewel Wild ride ...this book was a fun read...filled with just enough drama to make me happy as well as enough Hotness to satisfy.
Stinger (Sign of Love, #3) - Mia Sheridan I loved this book! I received this arc in exchange for an honest review and was blown away by Mia Sheridan’s work – she has solidified her spot in my Authors that I automatically buy and read. I will update this review once the book releases

My favorite was the alternating POV’s – loved how we got to see both sides it definitely enhanced the story and made me fall in deeper love with Carson Stinger – straight male performer and Grace was perfect for him.

Entwined with You - Sylvia Day I loved how much Eva and Gideon have grown. I love the story - hated the abrupt ending. Red head enters the picture Eva drags Gideon out, they get home, strip down - then BoOm ...the end. WTF
Arsen - Mia Asher I am in the minority here. I do not understand why she did that to Ben, I could understand if he ever wavered in his support, or his love.....but no - he loved her...unconditionally. I hated Cathy throughout the entire book. My heart bled for Ben as well as Arsen - especially Arsen at the end. This book hurt to read, and made me appreciate my husband more.

It's one of those books that sticks to your soul.
Wethering The Storm (The Storm, #2) - Samantha Towle The perfect ending the love story of Jake & Tru ....I hope to still get more in Tom's story because I'll never get enough :)
This Man Confessed (This Man, #3) - Jodi Ellen Malpas I loved this series – I miss Ava & Jesse already – even though Ava pissed me off for 75% of the book. I still loved it.

My casting for the very frustrating/demanding/unreasonable/belligerent/very beautiful Ava is:

My casting for the stalker/unreasonable/crazed/demanding/ Justin Timberlake loving/ uber hot Jesse is:

Jesse has a Body guard of sorts called John, my casting is:

John - This Man Trilogy - Jodi Malpas photo John_zps9f07614d.jpg

My casting for Sarah – the manors super bitch extraordinaire – is:

Ok here goes

These two people should never have been together. They bring out the worst in each other – however, they also bring out the best.
They meet – instant sparks fly – Jessie is as Bold as his cocky personality allows, as he asks Ava.

Just tell me one thing before you leave Ava. How loud do you think you’ll scream when I fuck you?” (She basically chokes on her tongue) & He says “I’ll leave that one with you”

Jesse wants Ava – all of her – every second of every minute of every day. It is obsessive. He says once he’s had her – she is his – end of.
He is insecure, overbearing, and won’t even let her walk – carries her everywhere – Fuck – he even brushes her teeth for her, dresses her feeds her – she is like a pet that has no arms. In this book this type of shit works.

Ava curses he says “Watch your fucking mouth”
I want to write so much more but I do not want to give any spoilers.
I would just urge you to read this series – I loved it
It’s really the best love story.

Unteachable - Leah Raeder Loved this book....loved the strong.... no bullshit...heroine in this. I highly recommend it.
Present Perfect - Alison G. Bailey Angst filled, story. Reminded me to live my life to the fullest, do not waste a second.

I will definitely be in the minority here with my review of this “must read” of the moment. I liked it, I did not love it. They said I would need tissues, but the only reason I wanted to cry was because I paid for it (which incidentally is the only reason I finished it)

Here’s part of the blurb:

I’ve been unsure about many things in my life except for one thing, that I have always loved him. Every single minute of every single day that I have been on this earth, my heart has belonged to him. It has never been a question, never a doubt”

And so begins the LOOOOONNNGGGGG journey of Amanda and Noah – born just a minute apart, and have loved each other since that precise moment. Amanda always felt a connection, always felt close to Noah and they were the absolute best of friends….so for 350 pages (I have my font on blind so my copy was 402 pages including acknowledgements) we endure the following:

"He was my best friend and I wasn't going to do anything to jeopardize that. I had to keep telling myself that nothing could ever happen between us."

And Noah would say shit like:

"You've always been my girl and always will be. No one will ever take me away from you, Tweet. You're my heart and soul and that's never going to change, no matter what you say."

"There hasn't been a day in my life that I haven't loved you. I just wish you would let me love you."

And she would push him away, because he deserved someone perfect and she considered herself flawed, I am here to say that if a guy said that to me – I would throw him down and keep him forever. (Fuck you Amanda – you’re right he does deserve better than what you put him through).

I just wanted to punch her in the face.

So then we get 72% in and the Author drops her “bombshell” but Tweet still pissed me off, because she STILL DID NOT pull her head out of her ass – it took another person to finally make her see!!!!! Yes I felt horrible for Amanda (aka “Tweet”) but, I didn’t feel torn up over it – and it’s not because my heart is a block of ice. Without spoilers – I will just say I didn’t feel connected with what she was going through, and this could be because I have seen this happen first hand and the author did not pull me into what she was going through, which is hard to explain without exposing said “Bombshell”. There could have been a lot less pages about the pushing away of Noah and more development spent on what she was going through as a woman during her battle – Not to say I wanted to read more misery – I just felt it was added at 72% as a “what the hell, why not?” - And BAM over…it was so fast. . It took forever to get to the “twist” and then we are brought straight to “The end”

I did laugh a lot at the beginning about how she got her nickname “Tweet” The parts about her childhood were hilarious, this was only for a few pages – then we begin our long stay at camp angst fest – where I spent my time wanting to throat chop a fictional character.

Goodreads is chock filled with 5 star reviews, and I am glad so many people loved it and connected with it – It just wasn’t for me.
Beneath the Burn - Pam Godwin This book took me on a journey of emotion. It tapped everything I ever wanted in a book and then dug deeper.
I loved this book -Read this!!!
Turn on a Dime - Blane's Turn (Kathleen Turner, #1.5) - Tiffany Snow I've always been team Kade.....but Blane won me over in this installment. This is not a standalone novel - you need to read the others to understand what's happening. Blane's POV really fills in the gaps and also gives us a glimpse into Kade's thoughts as a bonus. Tiffany Snow did a fantastic job here.
Left Drowning - Jessica Park If I could give this book 1 billion stars I would. My words cannot describe how great this book was... I'm going to let it sit for a couple days and write a better review. Whatever you do just read this book.
Lick - Kylie Scott loved this book. ..it was a sweet ride and I can't wait for the next book. it ended fast and I need more of Davids and Evelyns story
Losing Hope (Hopeless, #2) - Colleen Hoover Colleen Hoover has done it again....no one writes like her....no one.....Awesome POV from our Dean Holder. I wish I read hopeless and then this back to back. So I suggest that ....
This book gave great insight into the entire situation. I can only hope for maybe a continuation for what happens to Dean &Sky/Hope after college.
